Google translate is your friend Muckiveco. English to German and vv isn't perfect but it is good enough to get a message across. You might have noticed that quite a few posts are in English and it is also fairly common for German posters to provide both German and English versions. Even the forum software has provision in the user preferences to display the page in English.

I rely on the almost universal German ability to be able to communicate in English - especially those who are travellers. Back in Germany I don't have anywhere near the same success rate, but on the road it is close to 100%.
