Of course Brasilian law only allows foreign vehicles to be in the country for the same amount of time as the owner is permitted (90 days or whatever). HOWEVER, the issue is not the law, but rather HOW is is enforced. Is there a way Brasil will track the foreign cars (now without the TVIP)? If they cannot track the cars, then the law is useless. I think will will find out more about this when a few people overstay their cars in Brasil.

There is a man in Foz who parks motorcycles for foreigners. He is probably the person who will find out first.
