Argentina TIP now restricted to 3 months???? (Papierkram)

On the HUBB, a man entered Brasil with his motorcycle. He was not given an TVIP. Later he left Brasil without his motorcycle. The motorcycle stayed in Brasil. He did not have any problems or questions when he left without the motorcycle.

For a few years now, when a person enters Uruguay with a car, the passport and car plate # are put in the computer. It does not mean anything. A person can leave Uruguay without their car; no problems. I think the same is in Brasil.

The TVIP for most countries is totally useless. Only in Argentina do they care. In Uruguay, i have never been asked for my TVIP when i exit. Not once. In Peru, I entered and they printed me up a new TVIP even though the computer said my car had been in the country for 4 years and never exited. Computer error they said. This is actually what the problem is: the records are so messed up that nobody cares.
