a) I have a cover notice from Roby, the payment is the problem!
b) the last 2 days it rained (and snowed in the mountains), so the pass is certainly closed right now! Something which can always happen w/o prior warning during winter (I certainly don't want to be stuck in Argentina). more: http://www.pasosfronterizos.gov.cl/archivo.html
c) have you actually looked into the cost of fuel (with a truck) to do the return trip - just for a single payment? Not practical, and the drive plus border crossing aren't the easiest either.
d) may-be you would like to contribute some of your €200 profits from your camping list towards my fuel bill
