Argentinien: Einreise mit Auto - Ausreise ohne Auto (Papierkram)

We flew into Argentina, picked up the car and left Argentina with Power of Attorney and then re-entered and left with the car in my name twice more and then left Argentina by air leaving the vehicle behind. No problems. Don't ask, don't tell.

Previous owners of that vehicle entered by car and flew home leaving the car. Then left and entered by car several times and finally left the car behind for us and flew home. No problems.

People we bought the latest vehicle from entered Argentina by road, left the vehicle behind for us and flew out. No problems.

What I have been told is Uruguay is much the same, but Chile, Bolivia and Peru are quite the opposite - no leaving without the vehicle.

Which reminds me - have tried to find out the situation with leaving a vehicle behind in Brazil but so far no definite info. Anybody know?
