Brazil 1000R was easy to find although the same bank in different towns varied from 500 to 1000 and there was no charge for withdrawals at bank ATMs but steer clear from Caixi atms as they can charge up to 24R. In Brasilia I got 2000R from one atm with no charges

Peru also varies a lot and in Cusco it was possible to find an ATM with no charges but took a bit of trial and error.
