In our experience: Claro (where available) has generally best coverage, but is usually most expensive. In Colombia we purchased as SIM from UFF Mobil for internet use and we were very happy with the speeds (3G on a lot of places, and fast), but there were spots (El Cocuy NP) where we did not have coverage, but Claro did.
