Pantanal - Tipps gesucht (Sonstiges)
Guten Tag, wir sind derzeit in Brasilien und möchten gerne den Pantanal besuchen. Wer kann uns nützliche Tipps geben a) mit und b) ohne unser Auto??? Wer kennt Einheimische Leute, die auch allenfalls mehrere Tage z.B. mit dem Boot mit uns eine Tour machen würden? Was wir nicht wollen: Touren mit Reisebüros für 2-3'000 Euros für 4 Tage...

Fahrt über die südliche Transpantaneira nach Corumba, von dort mit einem Boot nach Porto Jofre und über die nördliche Transpantaneira nach Pocone.
Wenn Ihr Glück habt sehr ihr auch so einen Jaguar. Dafür müsst ihr aber tendenziell noch einmal einen Tagesausflug ohne Auto machen. Geht gut von Porto Jofre oder von einer Farm aus.
In Porto Jofre ist ein Campingplatz.

We did similar trip across the bottom, up to Porto on a barge and then north and into Bolivia.
Heading east along the bottom the road goes for a long way but eventually ends up deep soft sand which is not worth the trouble to keep on pushing through.
Fairly expensive trip on the barge although we made sure we had the whole front barge to ourselves.
Getting off at Porto can be difficult if the barge crew try to get you off in the wrong place at the wrong time of day. On ioverlander is an entry describing our exit point.

Wir waren in Porto Jodre am 28.10.17, Camping Neco, Camping 2 Personen / Reisemobil 40 Reais, Bootstour 1/2 Tag 450 Reais.
Wir sahen 2 Jaguare mit 2 Jungtieren.
Auf dem Boot waren wir zu 2. mit dem „Kapitän“.
Empfehlung 1/2 Tagestour, geht von 7:00 Bis ca. 13:00 Uhr.
