Travel cheap...like 30USD per day? Interesting? And go where you want to, when you want to.

Explore the Americas with the power of 4×4 with all the comforts of home everywhere you go. Imagine camping anywhere and everywhere in stealth mode! Not just a vehicle, you will be equipped with every necessity. The package is tested and expedition ready. You just fly into Buenos Aries with your clothes and embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Dream here:http://bipbipamericas.blogspot.com/p/1001-nuits-1001-nights.html

We have been travelling the PanAm since September 2011 and expect to be finished around April/May 2013 in Argentina or Chile (where we pick you up at the airport). This is a callout in advance to assess opportunities before we have actually a fixed FINAL end date.

The vehicle is Japanese origin (imported into Canada) Mitsubishi Delica 1996 with approaching 200 000km. It is the Super Exceed high-roof model with driver air-bag, ABS, power locks, power window, 2 AC systems, sunroof, 4 rear ceiling windows with electric shades, tinted windows, bull-bar, roof rack, ladder, and tow-bar. It has a high quality 4x4 system with auto-hubs. The motor is V6 3l gasoline and has an automatic transmission. It has been well maintained including and so far everything works. IT IS RIGHT HAND DRIVE..which makes it practically theft-resistant and only a problem for El Salvador!

It is fully ready to go, all your expedition needs, with only a few minor additions you bring and thus will not be cheap. A true turn-key operation.

Advantages of BipBip
1. Theft proof - Right-hand Drive makes this car practically theft proof as it is more interesting a conversation piece than it is practical for stealing. The car is so obviously different that anyone who tries to steal the vehicle will be caught immediately. It has helped also at police checkpoints by distracting the police with friendly discussion. Included are a steering wheel lock, and an underhood battery disconnect switch. RHD vehicles are permitted in every country – only El Salvador requires a special permission.
2. Parts availability – this Mitsubishi Delica is based on the Mitsubishi Montero engine and drive train. Thus any parts can be found in every country from Canada to Argentina. This is not so with North American vehicle models.
3. True 4x4- this van has a 4wd system second to none and only the Toyota FJ and the Mercedes G-Wagen have similar systems. With the option to lock the Center Differential and the Low gearing the van drives anywhere and is difficult to get stuck. Much stronger a system than the ‘All-wheel drive’ systems found on other minivans. Email me for more information.
4. Interior space – with the two middle row captain’s chairs that fold and rotate and slide, you can position them in a way to permit interior living when the weather gets bad. You don’t need to sit behind the steering wheel to eat when it is raining or snowing on the altiplano. You also have the option to sit under the rainproof awning with attached mosquito net.
5. Vehicle passing with RHD is easy with this vehicle as the 15cm suspension lift and the 1m tire diameter means the car sits above most vehicles so you can see overtop.
6. Stargazing is possible with the four rear ceiling windows with power electric shades.
7. Everything is included –navigation gear and electronic maps, cooking gear, camping gear, recovery gear, tools, spare parts, roof rack, 2 spare tires, 2 -20l fuel cans, tow bar and even electric autonomy with the solar power system and electric inverters to keep your electronics charged. You will only need to add a few small items to be on your way. Email for a complete list of items available.
8. Condition -Maintenance has been very important as this is not only our house but also our transport. Thus any problem that has been noted has been resolved immediately. To date there has been no problem with the engine or transmission. Most repairs have been to change various bushings in the suspension.
