Die längere Fähre ab Punta Arenas nach Porvenir ist reservierpflichtig, wie in der Saison die meisten in der Carretera Austral und ab Puerto Natales.

Dort sind wir ohne Reservieren hin gefahren.
Man stellt sich einfach an und nimmt die
nächste Fähre. Die fahren regelmäßig und ständig.
Bezahlt wird auf der Fähre. Es ist mir nicht in
Erinnerung, dass das besonders teuer gewesen wäre.

Problematisch wirds auf der Carretera Austral Richtung Puerto
Montt.
