Hey Future-Overlanders :-)

We are selling our motorhome in April 2020 in Santiago de Chile. It’s still far but as we arrived in South America, we were glad to have everything sorted out a few months before and we want to give you the same opportunity :-)
With this truck there are absolutely no limitations in traveling South America. We already went with it over 5.000m, through rain and snow, through small rivers, over beaches and the toughest terrain we could imagine. This truck is totally reliable and the 4x4 (low and high gear) combined with the insane high clearance can bring you everywhere.

Truck: fully customized 1998 Toyota Hilux 2.4 Turbo Diesel 4x4
Time of sale: April 2020 (mid-end of April preferred)
Place of sale: Santiago de Chile or nearby (best country for transferring the ownership)
Country of origin: French plated
Mileage: around 295.000 km by the time of sale
Price: 11.900 Dollar negotiable

Yes, the truck is quite old but that’s also an big advantage because nearly everything is mechanical and can be fixed easily if needed ;-) . The truck comes with ALL EQUIPMENT INCLUDED so you will not need to purchase anything.
We are selling the truck in Chile because as far as we know it’s the best country in South America for transferring the ownership.
Meanwhile it’s a custom of this vehicle that the old owner will pick up the new byer from the airport in Santiago. That’s what the previous owner did and we loved the service. We would prepare all paperwork for you so that you are ready to go after showing you everything about the truck.

Here is a quick overview of most of the components:
- four doors and five seats
- manual left-hand drive built and assembled in Japan (best quality)
- BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO2s 265/75R16
- rear view camera + touch screen DVD and sound system with AUX and USB input
- alarm-system with remote control and central locking
- hidden engine kill switch
- custom unique hammock system strong enough for 3 people (seriously)
- very durable rooftop tent (Howling Moon Stargazer 160x240 cm bed) with zip-on-room beneath the tent
- sun awning on one side of the truck
- rain shelter at the back of the truck for dry cooking
- huge box for extra storage and two 20 litres diesel jerrycans mounted on the top of the truck
- integrated system for carefree energy supply containing a new 60 watt solar panel with control-system for good monitoring charging two batteries, a possibility (switch) charging the batteries via motor as well, 600 watt inverter with 230 volt plug and 5A USB charger, light, refrigerator
- CDF45 Waeco refrigerator with custom bar built to slide out for easy access
- 7kg propane + 2 burner stove
- fully equipped kitchen (cutlery, dishes, pans + pot, table, chairs, etc)
- two 20 litres jerrycans for potable water
- custom storage system in the back of the truck
-two hidden safes
- all tools needed including winch, tow straps, 2 air compressors, etc

Please note that this description does not even begin to cover the huge list of modifications and equipment that come with this vehicle (provided by PM). The magician John James spent two months on the build and in our opinion, you will not find another truck of this quality outfitted to this epic of a level for this price in all of South America. For those who know Overlanding and trucks, you will recognize that this vehicle is for serious rugged terrain and wild camping, not for cruising the PanAmerican Highway although it’s good for that too.
If you are interested or need more information please just send us a message. We will answer as soon as possible (when we have internet again ;-) ).
***If this ad is still here, the truck is still for sale, we will remove the ad when we have a deposit or full payment***
