Ausreise Mexiko ohne Wohnmobil (Planung)

At the Chetumal border the officer wanted to refuse our VW T4 California as an RV. After some discussion and verification they agreed and gave us a 10 years TIP.
Leaving Mexico by airplane is no problem at all, because the vehicle is not registered in your passport. Just don't tell anybody about it...
Besides, we didn't have an official passport control at the Mexico-City airport; at least I can't remember it. The airline company checks your passport and takes your tourist card at the check-in desk.
