Chilenische 5kg Gasflasche in Bolivien, Peru und Argentinien (Sonstiges)

The small Chilean bottles use an integrated regulator and just snap on the top of the bottle so you will be very lucky to find anywhere in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil or Bolivia. Even getting US bottles filled in those countries isn't as easy as it should be considering that the threaded connection is the same.

I don't recall any entry on iOverlander mentioning Chilean bottle refills in those other countries but I could have missed it.

Buying an argentinian bottle, and regulator would be a possibility but I can't remember if small bottles are available and the big 12kg bottles won't fit in your gas locker
