There are several standards in South America so from Europe, also with several standards, you will feel right at home.

Brazil has a threaded port on the normal swap bottles that is unique to Brazil. Couple of countries have bayonet connections with integrated regulator eg Chile, and many of the others use a POL left hand thread.

I had trouble fitting any of the local bottles into my Gas Locker so resorted to buying local bottles and gravity filling my noth American bottles. With this kit I could fill almost any bottle and draw off gas from almost any bottle. The fitting for the Brazil bottles is the one with the wings and small thrhread. The POL male fitting is just below the winged fitting
