I assume you were given a 10-year TIP when you entered Mexico from the south and the TIP was not cancelled when the vehicle crossed over into the USA and so is still in force.

Mexico seems to be quite strict with TIPs and with requiring a Poder if the vehicle is not actually yours, so while a new owner probably won't have any problems driving back into Mexico because of the no hassle zone, you may come unstuck the first time a roadblock wants to see all your paperwork.

If there is no current TIP in force then entering Mexico will be as if it is a new entry, but vehicle title and personal ID and passports either must match or the discrepancies must be covered by a Poder.

First hurdle might be legally changing ownership back in Germany without you and the vehicle being present..
