No longer an RV park in Hermosillo (used to be on the north side of the city) and we stayed in a fuel station just south of the city tracking point 41. Plenty of room to tuck yourself away in a back corner. They were building a secure truck yard at the back so that may have changed things somewhat

Next night we were at tracking point 57 in the sand dunes just east of San Carlos

About as nice a spot as you will find and it is free. Best avoided on holiday weekends though. Big rigs from the US camp there - some all winter - so access is OK in dry weather. Couple of regular RV parks in San Carlos itself if you prefer. Tracking point 310 is one.

Other possibility is west of San Carlos at tracking point 306

There is a defunct RV park at the border in lukeville and you can probably ask at the shop over the road to see if you can stay there. Otherwise there is a campground at Organ Pipe NP if you are feeling richer.
