En general montevideo es seguro pero hace 6 años tiene un amigo que estaba en su auto en esto punto y algunos ladrones tocaba la puerta del auto con armas. El y la novia fue víctimas de una secuestra express. Seguramente es mejor a estacionar cerca la estación de servicio.

In general montevdieo is safe, but about 6 years ago i had a friend who was parked in that exact spot and some thieves came up to the car with guns. My friend and his girlfriend were kidnapped for the day while the thieves emptied their bank account and took things of value. It's better to park next to the gas station.
