Does anyone know if it is possible to store a truck for 8 months in Peru?

Hi,
if your temporary admission is longer than those 8 months it should be posible, I do not remember how long our admission was. I know a place in Cuzco, we were there in July.
Regards from Chile

Can SUSPEND your TIP for many months provided you have an acceptable reason such as health or family reasons for returning home. We got official permission to leave our rig behind for more than 8 months.
Did it at Cusco at QuintLaLa campground and Miligrand walked us through the procedure. Fairly complicated involving police and aduana that took several days in total.
Go home with permission, return and get another 90 days personal visa BUT you do not get a new 90 days for the vehicle Just have what of the original 90 days you hadn't used up.
Do not just leave the vehicle because we are told that the penalty for one day overstay is confiscation of your vehicle.
BTW where you store the vehicle is part of the approval process and must be inspected and reported by the police and the owner of the property must also give permission in writing. Once you are gone, the truck must not be moved

As far as I know length of admission in Argentina is very variable, depends on the customs person; do not have good references. Really long is best possible in Colonia/Uruguay, up to 1 year.
I'm researching what possibilities exist in Chile, where normal admission is only 90 days. Only have experience with gliders (sailplanes) that visit us regularly with admission via ATA-Carnets (normally 1 year).

Some borders in Argentina routinely give only 90 day TIP while others always give 8 month TIP. Paso Jama was one said to only give 90 days
I believe while Uruguay normally gives 12 months, that may not always apply if you arrive by sea
