There is an edit tag over on the right side of the page when you are looking at your own post, but it only stays live for a certain time after you first post. After the editing time has expired, only the forum staff can do anything about it. Trouble is I get the impression that this forum is just free-wheeling and there may not be anyone at the helm.

BTW the edit time is 60 minutes PROVIDED nobody posts a reply to your post.

In your case - assuming it is the "for sale" post - and given that it is back in the list a bit by now, why not just repeat the post with "AMENDED" on the end of the title, and then give the details of the amendment in the first paragraph - "SOLD" or "PRICE REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE" or whatever.
