shipping and tires in Panama (Sonstiges)

hello overlanders,

does anybody have any tips for shipping companies from Panama to Colombia outside of SC Line and Wilhelmsen?
SC line just changed their transit time to 30 (!) days instead of 2 and Wilhelmsen is relatively expensive, although fast.
we are aiming to ship late May, early June

and another thing:
does anyone have experience with buying all terrain tires in Panama? trying to find tires for our 17.5 rim size (Mercedes Vario 814D) which is proving to be very very hard indeed throughout the whole of Central America.
