Buying is possible in several countries once you have obtained tax numbers or registered in the system, but you should check whether that will give you the freedoms you want. For instance buying an Argentinian vehicle is possible but you will not be allowed to take it out of the country for at least 12 months and possibly 3 years. Chile no problem but there will be fines if you do not return at least every 6 months.

Then there is the problem with trying to sell it in another country. Rarely possible to sell it to a local, and any foreign buyer may not be able to get the registration tranferred into his name unless the sale takes place back in the original country. Too many variables to be able to come up with a definite procedure.
