Hallo,wir wollen ca.15.04.2016 zum 3.Mal nach Südamerika.Jetzt haben wir ein Problem
wegen der KFZ Versicherung.Karl Heiz Nowag gibt es nicht mehr,und Speiser ist in Buenos Aires,
Ankunft ist aber Montevideo.Wer kann uns einen Tipp geben,wo wir eine Versicherung zumindest
für Urugay,Paraguay,Argentinien,Bolivien,Chile und Brasilien abschließen können, lieber noch,
auch gleich für Peru,Ecuador und Kolumbien.
Ich hoffe auf Tipp`s.Gruß Siegfried

Schau unter "Papierkram" nach, genau das war da vor ca. einem Monat aktuell.
Wenn du keine Antwort für dich findest, geh zu einer Versicherung in Buenos Aires,
ist egal welche, es hat genug. Bouquebus ist für Personen nicht teuer und schliess eine
Versicherung vor Ort ab. San Cristobal versicherte mir, per Mail, dass sie nach wie vor Ausländer versichern.
Da ist Peru inkl. Kostet uns vor 4 Jahren 880 Peso für ein Jahr. (Haftpflicht)
Dürfte heute teurer sein. Dann sehen wir uns im August bei bei den Walen?

Hallo Gringa,
ich habe bereits mit Roby Speiser Kontakt aufgenommen,wenn wir nicht noch einen Tipp
für eine Versicherung in Montevideo bekommen,werden wir wieder wie bereits 2009 bei
Speiser abschließen.
Mit dem Treffen im August bei den Walen wird nicht klappen,es sei,Ihr meint in Ecuador (Salango)!!!

Currently no separate insurance required for Ecuador as they abolished separate SOAT policies early this year. Locals now pay it as part of their annual registration fees, while supposedly foreigners entering the country with a valid 90 day TVIP are automatically covered. Insurance for Colombia is readily available at the border with Ecuador on the PanAmerican highway.
If you come into Peru at Copocabana, you will not be able to get insurance until Puno and there are stories of travellers having to catch the bus to Puno and return before being allowed to drive into Peru. More credible are stories of police knowing most foreigners traveling on this road have no insurance, so stopping them and 'fining' them. Same problem coming in at La Balsa crossing from Ecuador.

Yes, but they also asked about insurance for the northern parts of SA as well.
I thought insurance for the lower part had been well documented here fairly recently, so didn't bother mentioning it.. We arranged our insurance through Klaus at El Bolson and that can be done totally by email and paid by paypal or bank transfer back in Germany and is good for Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile.

ja, da geb ich Dir recht. Aber dafür zahlen sie auch alle mehr ! Versucht es doch mal bei Mapfre , die gibt es überall, haben uns sogar in Venezuela versichert....
