Stromkabel auf Campingplätzen? (Sonstiges)

The other thing that is very useful is about 50 metres of extension cords so you can get power from the hotel or restaurant in whose carpark you are "camping" in.
iOverlander.com site will give you some idea of what "camping areas" facilities you can expect to find.
I bought a US truck camper with US electrical system so apart from Brazil, it has been pretty much unused. Previous vehicle was a UK Iveco which we dumped after the first tripo so I kept all the electrical gear (except for the UK outlets) and installed a completely isolated, double insulated second system with EU cord plus a growing box of adaptors, a circuit breaker and Argentinian-pattern power outlet which fits our Australian stuff, plus a 230V battery charger as well. Not ideal, but at least we have fairly normal facilities inside whenever we can get power.
Here at Qinta LaLa in Cusco, the wiring system is very primitive and there are several different styles of outlets to choose from. None have earth wires. Get used to it.
