Aufenthaltsdauer in Bolivien (Sonstiges)

We have just been through the process in Sucre.

First to Immigration to extend the 30 day visa. They originally said we would have to wait until closer to the end of the original 30 days but eventually relented and added a "30 day" stamp to our papers.

Then to Aduana - Policia National - and had to write a letter requesting a TIP extension. Supposed to be in Spanish but nice lady trannslated my hand writen request. Then it wasn't going to be done until the following Monday, but she eventually walked it through the system and was all stamped and an additional TIP issued for the extra 30 days.

No cost but took the best part of the day.

Many travellers get 60 or 90 days on their TIP so don't have to go to Aduana but we were unlucky and only got 30 days
