Reason we will probably give it a big miss is we have to get visas before we get to the border, which in itself isn't a deal breaker - but the cost is - about $300 for the two of us, significantly more than any other country (Argentina reciprocity fee USD200 for two of us, Brazil USD70 for two - especially when couple with the unfortunate fact that when I have made enquiries on various forums, nobody could give me a good reason to go into the country. Apart from old mission stations which we don't look at anywhere else anyway, what are 5 reasons to visit.
